Kind of the least charitable way to apply what you said, but even then feudalism was neither slavery nor a 'failure'. Sure serfs were often bound to a location but their lord generally had obligations toward them as well. And nothing that runs for centuries is a failure, 1/

Wow is that weird. I would say half of my Vietnamese clients live this way. They live without debt, are well educated, and have managed to stay away from welfare and state systems. completely.
