I know a lot of people aren't fans of Kickstarter, but I started with them like 7 years ago and already have a followinghttps://twitter.com/Marshal_Victory/status/1154617930467987456 …

I personally prefer Kickstarter over Indiegogo. I'll use either one, but I'm never sure why people don't like Kickstarter. I've backed tons of campaigns there and have never had a problem with them.

In my case its fear of no delivery. I know of a few friends that have been burnt on kickstarter an a few um projects that have gone on for 3 plus years with no updates. More picky when I use it than over Indiegogo.

Fair enough. I am still waiting on a CD that was supposed to be delivered in 2015, but the band haven't completed recording yet. I've always seen that as an issue with the band, though. Are you saying that KS is less likely to enforce campaign updates than IGG? Just curious.

Yes. Least it seems so. An for the average person when they hear Kickstarter they think of scam. Seen more few times comic creators have their campaigns copied on kickstarter an in no way be a part of the campaign there. Trust an perception is not good with people I know.

I have been pretty stingy with who I support, that's for sure. Only campaigns from people I follow elsewhere (Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
