Insecurity turns every social interaction into a risk to lose the people you love. Conversation becomes an exhausting dance to hide what’s wrong with you. You work hard to earn approval from people you don’t even like. Stop the cycle. Slay your fear.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07S33YGJZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_kvMjDbJ6PETQT …

I mean, I’m a giant ball of “they’re angry now” “they hate me now” “I’m so stupid and embarrassing” etc. - I don’t feel like it’s bad to hide that (that’s wrong with me) at work because I excel more when people don’t know I’m not a naturally bubbly, banter-ful person

For real though I’ve been interested in this book - how many pages is it because my book club limit is 500 so I might choose it when my turn comes back around?

110 pages in the paperback. It’s a fast read on purpose for people who hate reading.

That’s class for my book club so, the last few were like 300 pages and I’d say 4 of us finished and the rest got halfway. If we do it I’ll post the worthy comments, my turn isn’t for a bit though!
