@PraetorianSwift are there any combat fundamentals that can be trained at home with no partner? Fundamentals someone can train until they're in a position to pay for training.

What might some of those fundamentals be (if you're willing to share)?

I am willing. Dry fire. Toss tennis balls in other rooms of the house- work on angles (pie) to see the balls. Attempt to maneuver through house while maintaining focus on one object on far side of each room. Know 2 ways to get out without using front or back door- practice

I'll start working on it. And would you share advice for blades? I practice deployment in order to increase speed but that's about the extent of my self imposed training.

I actually have a fixed blade that I carry concealed under my shirt. Typically in appendix position, occasionally in the 4 o'clock if I have a particularly fitted shirt.

Pick one position to carry. Dress around your equipment. Read Book of Five Rings
