I’m leaning towards using B&N Press to print 100 copies 5 by 8 paperbacks and @Libera_Rex is helping with the cover and formatting. My first version PDF I formatted myself using Google docs. Local printer actually sounds good so might look into that.

Why not publish for free through Amazon and order author paperback copies for $2-3?

Print 4 copies and drop them in the middle of the Sahara. Post orbital sniping platforms to take out the unworthy who manage to approach.

Your marketing and visibility would still be on par with most indie authors, actually.

Yea I think the best reason to not use Amazon is the book sales are lead gen for other products/services you plan to offer. If you don’t need that then Amazon is clearly the best marketplace for books.

Bro, there are a ton of these people already. People making 6 figures easy. Maybe making 7 figures. All through amazon with no middleman.

Part of that is because opening the floodgates means we get a hundred big writers instead of one darling every ten years who captures all the attention because the publishers threw their millions of marketing dollars into building that one moneymaker.
