People aren’t getting this. I’ll be clear: Men who abandon their child wound not only the child but the whole of society for generations with residual pain. Such men should be branded on the face with hot iron as a mark of shame and outcast from all jobs and association forever.

If you deployed, you didn’t abandon your kids, You’re earning a wage and working to make their world better. Same with genuine religious callings, etc. Men who don’t want to deal with an angry ex wife so they dump their kids are selfish trash and should be marked as pariahs.

Men who abandon their kids leave the kids to bear all the anguish themselves. This is selfish hedonism. Weakness. Utter worthlessness as a man. If you created them, you’re responsible. Period. If not, get out of my face and go die in a hole somewhere while we clean up your mess.

There is no wiggle room here. If you have the choice to see your kids and choose not to out of inconvenience or even your own pain, you are forcing your children to suffer on your behalf. At that point you cease to be a person in my eyes and are only a detriment to this world.

Any Christians up in here telling me this isn’t Christlike, our Lord was exactly clear on how he felt about people who wounded children and caused them to doubt love. A father’s love is their model for God. When father walks away, for how can they still believe? What a burden.pic.twitter.com/BzjGPWD5wC

Replying to @TheBrometheus
Shame is a big motivator, and was an effective way to hold people accountable. In today's society child abandonment, adultery, and no-fault divorces don't cost you lost social circles like they did 100 years ago.
