I envy authors who can write with background music on. ADD has its claws so deep in my brain, I can only work in total silence.

Like a self-hypnosis thing where you take deep breaths, count to 4, and mentally tell 1 muscle group to relax on each count?

Like tightening muscle groups as hard as they go and holding for a time before releasing, then breathing, then tightening a new muscle group, until your entire body is stressed and then relaxed.
