Sometimes it haunts me that my children will grow up in a place where people can’t correctly pronounce “Bag.” #Minnesota

I’ll never forget the first time my Minnesotan wife said that. I couldn’t tell what she was saying, so she kept repeating it and I thought one of us was having a stroke.

hahahaha. I'm laughing out loud at the mental picture. My college academic advisor/teacher was from Nebraska and the first time he said "antenna" (an-TAY-na) in class, we all looked at each other like, "what in the world" and I was in broadcasting so we heard that word a lot.

My wife tried to introduce me to the concept of a “ragbag” before I understood her accent. “It’s a baeg for raegs but it’s more like a bucket.”

Seems like a fair compromise. Also, burritos are the best. Keep being you.
