If I were a single young man seeking a wife, I’d get deeply involved in my local church and then announce my search for a wife to the old ladies who run the various programs. Guaranteed they know who else is looking and who to avoid.

Too bad all the churches I'm remotely interested in attending in my area are bastions of wimpy nonsense as they have gotten suckered into the overly PC social justice scene

The quality of church definitely matters. What denominations you checked out so far?

I was raised Lutheran. I don't want to have to take Ubers to church. Would be nice to find something on a bus line. I spent an entire Saturday this winter looking up reviews and feedback on Yelp/Google/FB pages.

Some denominations may naturally be more easily infected by social justice.

Yes, it's typical with Lutherans and non-denomination Christians. I don't find anything wrong with them, but they seem to force the agenda with social events.

Right. That’s one thing I’ve enjoyed since converting to Catholicism, but we have our own terrible parishes. I keep hearing how awful the twin cities churches tend to be regarding true doctrine.
