Took me 6 months to bond too. I loved my son but felt guilty that I didn't have a VERY strong connection. Thank god I read a "dad" book that warned of this happening.

I am. And I definitely felt the Spirit the day she was born, along with the responsibility that was on my shoulders. That still didn’t create a bond though.

Why are Men so impatient & pressured to “feel” (a bond)? I’ve lived it, changed diapers, drove all night to help ‘em sleep, coached sports, helped ‘em become adults. Bonding is knowing them & an emotional reflection. “Remember when?” Want bonding? Just spend TIME with them.
