It is the responsibility of men to be vigilant in a world against them. Forcing other women to cover themselves "for the sake of men" is only addressing half the issue. If the men leap over pews & sexually assault someone during Mass because she wore a low top, then sure. Wearing revealing clothing to a place where men will grapple with sexual sin and need to focus on the Lord for strength is not caring for your fellow Christian.

I suppose we just disagree about severity of the source. Even if we agree in general for both. I think we can both agree that the woman has a responsibility to be aware of her fellow Christians and a man has the responsibility to train his eyes away from that.

Perhaps. I also wonder how the different focus between our church services colors the difference of perspectives. :) Protestants tend to use the time to teach and share fellowship. Catholics use the time almost exclusively as temple worship. That’s a huge context shift.
