@TheBrometheus is there an age where putting a child in day care is less likely to lead to attachment issues?

I think my girls should be able to handle a light beer or wine cooler about 5. Going to wait till their teens before they get the good stuff...

Joking of course about the drinking. And knowing later is better on day care I would guess from your answer that there isnt an age where the risk drop is greater than any other age? Like 2 is better than 1 but three is better than 2 but 4 doesn't show reduced risk compared to 2?

I guess what I'm struggling with is it better to live a reduced lifestyle so someone (mom) can stay home vs. Both working to provide nicer housing ect.

Children in moderate poverty but with healthy parents appear to have better mental health status and resiliency versus children in prosperous families with reduced family time. The research bears this out. Money and stuff does not replace pure time together. Presence > presents.
