Definitely some people who push that view. IIRC the Apostle Paul wrote something similar (1Cor7:8). But God also loves children, and they should only come from married couples, so you do the math there.

Anxiety comes whether we should or not... I understand the fear. But recall that you’re not walking your own path. In all ways you seek after the Lord and He will direct you to where He intends you to do His work. I’d that’s marriage or the Church, it’s not for you to figure out.

Anxiety is perhaps an accidental sin of pride born of fear. The belief that you must determine your own path all alone and figure it all out. The belief you can do it alone because you must. This is in contradiction of scripture. It’s a circular trap which cannot be won.
