Then have kids and raise them lovingly so they’ll support you in your old age. Simple life hack that’s been used as long as our species has existed.https://twitter.com/TelePolitics/status/1130737554913935360 …

The kicker no one wants to talk about is what the legions of the modern childless women will cost taxpayers in their old age. Their husbands (if they were ever married) will be dead and they’ll need housing, food, healthcare... Enormous strain on an already creaking system.

Factor that in with the brutal number of abortions and low birth rate causing an inverted triangle of population where aging populations are larger than all those below them, and you’re talking about taxing a population minority of workers to feed the majority of elderly.

Imagine sixty people working and being taxed enough to provide care for an additional hundred people not working. That’s what we’re talking.

True, but if you really want to face the reality, there is actually no need to call out the women. Childless, unmarried men will create the same burden. As gender ratio in US is prolly near 50% for every unmarried women there is an unmarried man. ;)

Other than that, you are on point. This is a very real problem Europe has been facing for decades, getting worse every year step by step. So retirement age is pushed out and public pension amounts diminish

And why will the childless women cost more than the childless men?

Because the childless men will be dead, as women have a life expectancy about 10 years longer than men. The gender ratio in upper levels of the population becomes skewed.

I’ve talked about it. They don’t seem to want to. Five kids for me, at least - enough for me, my husband, and his childless sister.
