Start off with only low quality to offer so you get used to low prices, if anything. Get the attention mostly of people willing to pay very little or nothing. As you grow in skill, people with generous hearts and an eye for talent seek you out. But you’re used to charging zilch.

Being uncomfortable with charging much for your work because of your unskilled start and pushing beyond the “I’ll lose my starting audience” mentality is tough. This struggle also makes it hard to get the attention of people looking for quality work. You’re sending bad messages.
