I can tell the times and seasons in my life when I did NOT place God at the beginning of my days. It’s regretful on reflection. As a man, I pray thanksgiving for my life, health, skills, talents, and gifts. The opportunities to share Him and what I know with others.

As a husband, for my marriage and all the gifts given from Him in my marriage. (Don’t know what those are - read Solomon’s Song of Songs)

As a father, I pray thanksgiving for my children. For the times I will remember forever. The opportunities to show them my faith in God.The chances I get to teach them and then watch them apply the knowledge in their lives. I pray for their futures and their future spouses.

My suggestion (through my experiences) is put God first in your day and seek His guidance. Be thankful for what He provides to you. He has gotten me through too many sh!t storms of death not to trust Him.

Absolutely true. Life is divided clearly by times I prayed and times I didn’t. Enduring faithfulness is a gift to us.
