please clarify. Insecurity with relationships can manifest in many ways. What they think about you? how you are acting toward them? If they talk behind your back? Do you really love them? etc? outward or inward insecurity?

Life is to short to let this stuff get to you. Lay it at christ's feet. Dust yourself off, and keep moving forward. Just my mentality.

Normally, I jokingly blame the French for any ills and move on. That solves so much in life. (Only thing France has ever done to me was in 1066, soooo... I can hold a linguistic grudge, yeah.)

I used to think I had an insecurity problem, but a few years ago I became less sure of it, and lately I lean more toward the notion that insecurity is not a problem for me, at least insofar as I don't have to deal with my own insecurity. But honestly I don't know if I know.

Quite a bit. My inner narrative is that my performance = my worth to others So every time I make even the smallest mistake, I feel like my value to others drops from "barely human" to "below garbage".

My wife has insecure issues. Both her parents were cheaters, her boy friends and first husband were cheaters. She thinks men by virtue of being men are born cheaters. its been a battle to say the least but she has gotten better after six years but difficult at times.
