Been studying Chris Fox’s books for new perspectives on the writing craft. He claims he can take my 2,500 words per hour and raise it to 5,000. I’ll be trying his method out starting today.

I also picked up a free trial of Dragon Anywhere. Chris Fox asserts a person can speak 140-160 words per minute and that Dragon is accurate dictation software. I have plenty of commuting time that could be more productive.

Lastly, I need to take a much closer look at which genres are oversaturated and which are hungry for quality material. A mistake new authors make (myself included) is dumping their early books into swampy genres which swallow them up without a chance of attention.

How do you look for that oversaturation? I know Fox did one video talking about identifying your target audience, in which he went through the best sellers in a genre and how well they're selling.
