Waiting for my son to wake up so we can play with his new dinosaurs. Waiting for him to turn 5 so we can train with sword and shield. Fatherhood is varied and complex.

That breaks my heart. Fathers are responsible for the well-being of every member of the family until the day of his death, and beyond through legacy. But take it from me, even deadbeat fathers are doing the best they know how and believe is possible. No excuse, but understanding.
