Looks like you’re saying social competence would take the place of the concept of EQ, then. Makes sense but I’m not certain what the distinction is between the two? I suppose I’m more curious about which companies are encouraging EQ trainings because that’s immensely dystopian.

I’ve always taken EQ to be pseudo-psych shorthand for social competence. Is it being presented otherwise?
