Men and women should be having firm discussions about life goals, children, marriage, division of labor, religion, and life mission on the very first date. Drives away the time wasters and makes the goal-driven partners obsess over you. Stop wasting time. Stop being timid.

Life goals, children, marriage, division of labor, religion, and life mission - all on the first date? That's intense. It's good if the first date lasts a month. Maybe instead focus on one of those subjects, and have a string of dates to discuss each of the other subjects?

Not everyone can agree on everything. Of those issues where people disagree, not everyone who disagrees can set aside their differences such that getting along is possible.

So you should... marry anyway? Or beat around the bush? I’m unclear what you’re intending.

Certainly marriage should be the goal. I just don't think that it's realistic to cram all of those different subjects into one outing. Unless you define the idea of "date" to be a process instead of a discrete event. Then it should actually be a courtship instead.

Courtship is precisely my meaning. You nailed it.
