Question for you. Do you think the modern 'education system' destroys intergenerational relationships?

I think intergenerational relationships were massively disrupted due to the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl. Parents gave love through hard labor and providing. Many Boomers felt unloved as kids and freaked out. Attachments tore apart. Later generations felt unwanted.

Attachment crisis traces back to 1930s and the generational struggle to show love in a societal collapse. Love not felt, transmission of affection disrupted, kids felt unwanted and like burdens, had to earn love and approval or rejected it as hopeless. Rise of punk teenagers.

Fallout from that is still being felt. People crave love but no longer believe in it. Need a resurgence of teaching how to give love and display affection. Books like 5 love languages attest to the need for learning.

Something I'm hearing over and over again anecdotally is that homeschooled children are polite and have great interpersonal relations with people of all ages. From my own experience I do well with every age group, expect my own. I was not homeschooled. I wondered if there was a

Likely families that homeschool also value traditional wisdom and cultivate more blatant affection between members.
