They caused me to understand how all the entertainment industry is just pointless brainwashing to get our money, even those originals we loved. It was all for money. They fool you into believing you have some special relationship with them, but you don't. You're just a consumer.

Kids today treat these horrible reboots with the same level of nostalgia and love we have for the originals. It was all just brainwashing, geekdom was always a lie.

That the truth. Which is why their works won’t stand the test of time. Storytelling is a vehicle for teaching and the public only adores the stories which contain a kernel of some real truth, comfortable or otherwise.
