Would you be likely to buy a novella series (about 40k words, half the length of a standard novel) if the releases were frequent, the kindle books were priced about $4 and paperbacks about $8, and the writing structure made for a satisfying story within a contained length?

Are you asking does anyone "have time" for a short story anymore? Interesting to this old timer how they have sort of gone by the wayside. They used to be an integral part of our lives, the dime store novels or those in magazines, and especially the classics. I miss them.

I’m asking if there’s a market. Modern audiences sometimes demand high quantity for low cost. Is there still a market for short fiction?
