As someone who struggles with anxiety, I find this intriguing. I've found that for all my worrying, should my worst fears come true my principles hold. It's often less fear of doing the wrong thing and more fear of suffering for doing the right thing.

I've had to parse out what I can/can't control, as well. I can't control how other people take my words... Or even the way other people's words are applied to me as if I'd said them. But I can resolve not to gossip or insult people purposely. Just that one has been pretty tough.
