I started following fellow Catholics/immersing myself in this “culture” to become part of a community. Sadly some of y’all are some of the most judgemental, exclusive, rude ass people. Something I have learned in my life is it’s often better to be kind than right.

My thinking is that most of us know what our failings or sins are. We are working on them or decided we don’t care. Few of us are unaware of what is appropriate and not. So are we shaming people who refuse to conform/care about our warnings? That’s what it seems like.

There are definitely people who don’t know what they are doing is wrong or they don’t realize how serious it is. I’ve been one of those guilty of sin without knowing. Allowing someone to ignorantly continue in sin is not loving.

Share hard truths with the winsomeness of St. John Vianney, and the gentle grace of St. Francis de Sales!
