I’ve got a few authors I look up to. I pursue them and ask endless questions about our shared craft, their story decisions, anything I can get from them to learn and improve my own skill. Always pursue your heroes and always be on the lookout for new (knowledgable) teachers.

@BrandonBVarnell because his characters pop right off the page. You can hear their voices in your head and they maintain total consistency even as they grow and ache. The cast becomes a part of your day as you dive into his works. I desperate wish to learn this skill.Show this thread -
