I never really understood that film... Spoilers bellow.. All that for a dog? I mean had it of been a cat I would of been right there with him. Noodles T Cat was rooting for the "bad" guys

it wasn't about the dog, it was about what it represented. it was a living piece of his wife. to him, it literally was the last piece of her he had. it was her speaking to him from the grave, giving him a way to heal, giving him permission to love again.
