If a mother has weak and confusing frame, her son will be lost and trapped in it and never grow. If a mother has strong and clear frame, her son will grow in strength in order to break free and create his own frame. Strong mothers make strong sons.
I’ll argue this line of thinking with you if you can point out where in my original tweet I said fathers aren’t necessary. Everything I’ve ever posted or said in private has been quite the opposite, in fact. My statement remains: Strong mothers make strong sons. Not “men”: sons.

A father takes that son and makes him a man. But a mother who twists and corrupts her son with her own weakness sets up a flawed child unlikely to survive the rigors of forging required to craft a man.
