In the last 6 weeks I have become noticeably slimmer across my torso so that people have been commenting. Dropped another pants size. My neck and jaw tightened up nicely. I’ve also gained 7 pounds. With zero exercise at all. I am so confused.

Cleaning up your diet and being more active will have this effect. Even if it's not outright exercise. Either that or your dying of cancer :P
