This is not the easiest thing for me to admit, so I am going to preface it with this: This is hard for me to admit because I was taught not to complain because no matter how bad things are for me, there's always someone else who is worse off.

Right now, my family is struggling. My husband's job pays by a daily rate instead of an hourly wage, which means no overtime, despite how he often works well over 8 hours a day.

Add to this there's no paid vacation or sick days, which means he loses money if he cant work, and there are no benefits. To say we live a hand to mouth existence is not an over-exaggeration. He's looking for better work, of course, but he is not finding anything.

He works out of state and can not come home, the last time he was able to was back in '16 for our youngest's graduation when he was at his previous place of employment.

I'm trying to help out by streaming as anxiety paired with needing to be home for my oldest, who is autistic, makes working outside of the house pretty much not an option.
