I have a great new book about healing attachment problems for any kids who were raised by self-absorbed parents like this one. Coming February 2nd.

That guy's post was so upsetting to me. Are kids ever challenging or frustrating or exhausting? Of course they are. But mine are *always* fun and a total blast. Ever since they were infants. If they aren't fun by the time they're 9mo, that's the parent's fault, not the child's.

Notice not once did he state it was worth it, nor list any other redeeming qualities whatsoever. Someday his kids may stumble upon this post and what’s he going to say to undo the damage? Likely his stance won’t be a surprise, though. If they even speak to him at that point.

I wrote and deleted about 5 different posts. Suffice it to say, that post pissed me off. I hate when adults bag on their kids. The kids didn't ask to be in that relationship. The adult needs to own their responsibility.
