Committing adultery is a sin, but that takes two parties. Convincing someone else the Ten Commandments don’t apply so adultery is fine means you are leading them to sin. That is not loving, and that does not serve God. Quite the opposite on both points, in fact.

Correct. The Ten Commandments hold true as the most loving path and the consequences are still death, but Jesus paid the ransom and the debts are forgiven. We’re still to keep to these laws (“I did not come to abolish the law but fulfill it”) but we are also forgiven.
