Listen folks. @HunterDrewTFA’s “be ready when your number is called” is no joke. It’s real. Had to call 911 for my infant daughter tonight because she was choking and turned blue. Because our family team was trained and worked together in a crisis, she’s still alive and safe.

Wife and I took infant CPR classes. Trained ourselves in toddler CPR. We keep posted manuals in the nursery. I recently refamiliarized myself with the material. Our family team knows what each person’s specialty is and how to respond in medical emergencies.

Be ready, or watch your loved ones die. This is not a LARP or a fun weekend with buddies, this is training for real emergencies. One infant CPR video is linked here:https://youtu.be/n65HW1iJUuY

Well done. First aid training, or at least CPR, should be part of mandatory education. Make use of workplace schemes to get and stay qualified.

How is your little one now? Have you found out what the problem was?

She’s teething hard and stopped wanting to chew her food, so we’re swapping to soft foods and purées for a while until the eyeteeth are in.

She will likely have her mother following her around to restaurants until she’s 25 to observe bite sizes...
