Wife and I took infant CPR classes. Trained ourselves in toddler CPR. We keep posted manuals in the nursery. I recently refamiliarized myself with the material. Our family team knows what each person’s specialty is and how to respond in medical emergencies.

Scary. Had it happen to me while I was at home with our daughter by myself when she was just beginning solid foods. Terror when I realized what was happening, but training took over very shortly after. A few quick back-thumps and a mouth-sweep with two fingers and she was
