Becoming Catholic means learning a million intricate prayers and rituals, like the rosary. I ask other Catholics for help and they say “Oh haha, you can’t possibly pray the rosary wrong!” Meanwhile in Heaven folks are like “WHAT’S THAT HORRIBLE SOUND?”
I’m feeling the same way. It’s wonderful. Just a bit overwhelming right at the start!

I’d really recommend this book. It’s an introduction to Roman Catholicism—as a a way of life, that is, described by its practices. It’s also filled with intelligent reflection on practices, and the whole thing is arranged around the (western) calendar.
