I want my priest to say “He worked hard to become a living saint for you.”

I want a thousand people to find them throughout their lives and keep telling them how their father loved them so much that he changed the world to prepare the way of them. That he went to war against sickness for them. That he lived every breath for them.

At my father's funeral, and for months afterwords, people would come up to my brother and I or reach out to us online and tell us that he made them better men, better fathers, better people. My dad was no one history will remember, but his effect on the world will go on forever.
