The notion that video games as service has a great possibility of becoming a real thing in the near future makes me glad to have hobbies like TTRPGs and plain old reading. Fuck every single gamer who let this happen and fuck even more the ones who defend it.

I know someone who works as a verbal translator for a game company, purely internal work, no translation of product. Just for business meetings between employees. $100k/year salary. AAA has budget problems.

I’m perfectly happy with sidescrollers and lower budget stuff. Child of Light was delightful. Bring on the lower budgets and the hip, trendy crowd who hate video games but flock to big cash will bail out of gaming again.
