During RCIA I was told Confession is not a big deal, I don’t need to go more than once a month, and venial sins don’t really need to be confessed unless I’ve got nothing else. So they allot 15 minutes per week for the entire parish at 7:15am before Mass.
Thoughts, @padrebrendon?

I’ve been to Confession once in 7 months because we’re wrangling young kids to barely make it to Mass on time as it is. I’d like to make it a regular thing but it seems our parish is almost against it.

I dont know much about Catholic dogma. All I know is many protestant friends think that one big mistake in the reformation was to discard confession completely. So it is probably important.

I am not debating it. It is emphasized in the Bible too, to confess sins to each other. And as someone who is trained in mental health I am sure you know that is objectively important and healthy. :)

I didn’t think you were debating it. I’m genuinely looking forward to it. ;)
