Ah, for slaw I use a grater, and not so much cider vinegar. And I grate up a carrot too, for color.

Yeah the original recipe calls for carrots and red cabbage too, this is just super simple

Are you using fresh or pre-shredded cabbage? Fresh is a ridiculously wet vegetable.
