Our historic anti-lynching bill is so close to becoming law. But the power to schedule a vote to make that happen now rests in the hands of House Republicans. I urge them to listen to Chairman Grassley's words. Do not stand on the wrong side of history.pic.twitter.com/IJSGWsNNIm

Here is a current example of what ails Washington, our system and our country. This is NOT dem/gop issue. It is absolute 100% common sense and long overdue!! BUT, it’s being played like a typical political game. SHAMEFUL!

Help me out here. Murder is already illegal. It’s considered one of the worst crimes a persona can commit and sometimes carries the steepest penalty of all: death. We need to dump taxpayer dollars into an anti-lynching bill... why?

All the aides and assistants standing by as the bill is debated, all the hours of research, and the cost of implementation adds up to quite a lot.

I answered your question, will you answer mine? Why is this necessary beyond feelings and virtue signaling to the Democrat base about ghosts of past racism? Especially since historically the Democrats created the KKK and were the ones lynching people?pic.twitter.com/LNvWzPB2yk

This is not a Dem vs GOP issue, it’s plain common sense. Until politicians and people like yourself get that one party against another crap out of your heads, this country is going to continue to swirl down the drain. On that note: Best Wishes to you for a Merry Christmas!
