Hey all. Last night, after a talk with my mom, I found myself in a bad place. Not to the point of self-harm or anything like that, I promise, but I'm really not myself. I am going to switch my day off to today and will stream Thursday to make up for it. Sorry about this, gang.

Your tweet got into my feed bc
@TheBrometheus Best way to resolve bad place is talk it thru w/trusted pal who can help you "reframe" situation. Most men don't do that bc taboo on male vulnerability, but if do anyway like weight of
off shoulders.

If you're like most men, you've been punished every time you've disclosed vulnerabilities. It creates a taboo on ever talking about anything that could be used against you, or trigger loss of respect. That's why trustworthy friends better than gold. Hope ur peace of mind restored

Sorry if I said something misleading, but I am a woman. I do agree with what you said, it just doesn't apply to me. The reason it is hard to talk about it is because it involves the man who beat the hell out of my mom, the first person I ever truly hated and wish death upon.

Nothing you said; I read too much into the avatar, my apologies. Now I understand better. Talking about it triggers the emotions. My sympathies for your mom. I hope that she too can resolve her wounds and find peace of mind.
