I’m reading about these old-time pulp fiction writers in the ‘20s to ‘50s who wrote every single day like they were obsessed. I feel that same passion but trying to fit writing in that often seems impossible. Goal before the end of the year is to find ways to increase writing.

It’s 5:00 and I’m awake now and work 12-hour shifts plus have 2 kids, less sleep is not an option right now because I get the minimum healthy amount.

Yeah I get you. I’ve been teetering on the edge of burnout all year and my sleep has been cut back as far as I can go without physically suffering. What I need to do is fine-tune my daily routine to remove time I’m spending in other pursuits. There isn’t much, but it’s there.
