FWIW I have enjoyed the hell out of carbohydrates this month. The gnocchi last weekend was superb.

Personally, I tried low carb many times. Lost weight, felt "good", but I was flat. I theorize that consuming carbs spurs serotonin, and for those prone to negative emotion, like myself, that's a real boost.

I’ve seen many people break free from shitty habits and get healthier on the meat diet, fair enough. But it quickly becomes dogma, like vegan. And the guys promoting it got there by researching nuanced health topics, then suddenly stopped.

Portion control. Probiotics for gut bacteria. Vitamins for deficiencies to control cravings. Plenty of protein. Double the fiber of any fat. Been shedding fat like mad on that simple eating plan. I eat pretty much whatever I want and still slim down.
