Christians of any denomination: We welcome your prayers and stories as well. We are all one family and will celebrate Christ together. I ask Catholics for Advent stories because that was what she was looking forward to, but all Christmas things make her happy. :)

I haven't got much there. Been Catholic for nearly 15yrs and still figuring out Advent. That said, we have a calendar and our three year old loves going up and opening the little compartment every day.

(Not a Catholic)... I have an Advent wreath as our table centerpiece and we light the appropriate candle and do a church-supplied devotion. Also, beginning the 17th, we read one of the O Antiphons.

And (though you are Catholic), I want to recommend http://www.lutheranpublicradio.org for Advent music. The choral music is lovely and they play many selections written before our schism.

Thank you so much. :)

One more... I have long given up the battle of sending out Christmas Cards (or Advent Cards as I have come to call them) before December 24th. I send them following Christmas Day. But this is mostly because we are super busy with church.
