I'm still here! I'm just really bad at updating on Twitter. The last couple of days have been pretty good for reading. I finished Wizard's First Rule today and made some decent progress in Tower of Dawn and Educated #50ADayNov

How was Wizard's 1st Rule? So many ppl hate Goodkind on both political sides bc he makes his characters go through terrible things so he can just be on his Rand soapbox like the torture Richard had to go through pgs on pgs? But I am 1 of the few ppl that really enjoy the series.

I guess I can see why people didn't like it, but I enjoyed it a lot. I mean, there were times when I was a bit frustrated with the characters actions, but overall, it was a really enjoyable book and I will likely continue on with the series.

Most ppl says its the best bk in the series, everything goes downhill from there. Imo only a few bks in the series is bad. Hopefully you will read at least till bk 6 bc that is when most ppl jump ship bc next 2 bks are that bad.

I read them all up to the end of the Sword of Truth. I liked 90% of it. (BDSM in book 1 could've been less, and Confessor needed an editor)

So many hate bk 7 I don't know why, but imo bc Richard was not the main character. Bk 8 ppl hate it bc they don't understand, but its on why war is needed in his pov of the anti war protester in Iraq War.

No. You're right. Chain fire was the problem. Confessor was a solid ending.

I stopped at uhhhh the one. Where there’s some contrived reason to keep them apart. You know the one I mean.

You mean bk 2 or bk 6 bc they were both apart in both of those bks?

Think it was books 2-10 honestly. I actually liked the series, that ongoing plot contrivance just really bugged me.
