Men are raised by mothers who smother them while forging them into savages of steel. No mother wants her son to escape her arms & enter a dangerous world, but far more devastating is a son who never becomes a man. He must overcome her will. Mother is the final boss of childhood.

If a son can’t overcome his own mother’s will, how will he ever accomplish the building of an empire? He will be slave to all. This is why mothers increase their domineering as their weak sons flail and falter. It is protectiveness, but also a push to get angry at her and rebel.

Mother is the first goddess of a child’s existence, the first glimpse of divine power. She feeds and sustains and staves off death with her hands and breasts and warmth. Overcoming the first goddess is a man’s test for entering adulthood.
