I wish I’d thought of this. However, to ruin your joke, Jesus (and the Eucharist) is meant to fulfill the role of the Passover lamb. Eating His flesh and drinking His blood echoes the Passover tradition, during which Jews cannot eat yeast. So the Body would be unleavened bread.

I have always wondered why it was unleavened

When initially Jesus told His disciples to eat His flesh and drink His blood they would have known He was declaring Himself in place of the Passover lamb. That’s why you see many of them turn away from Him in John. He says it again at the last supper. So, every Sunday is Passover

It’s meant to be a mimicking of the old ritual of a replacement sacrifice. One is eating His flesh so the angel of death will pass them by. By doing this at every Mass, participants are reminded of the ransom paid, the willing sacrifice of the Lamb made in their place.
