If you pass by a person in need of help, you are choosing to abandon them to their fate. Someone else may or may not help them, but in that moment, you are signaling that you don’t care if they ever get help. If you want the world to be better, then you must be better.

Almost let a women with a deflated tire on the side of the road when I was going to my groceries and finally decided to help her change her tire. Was very much the better decision to make.

Imagine how many people passed her by thinking someone else would help. Imagine if no one had stopped. You’re out there personally making the world better. Thank you.
