Childhood: The passage of time is unbearably slow. Every minute feels like an hour. Adulthood: There aren’t enough hours in the day. How can time disappear so fast? Elderly: I can literally see the sun moving across the sky. By the time I eat breakfast, it’s time for bed.

I thinks it's the relative nature of the percentage of time. An hour to a child is a much bigger percentage section of thier life than an adults.
